Stockholm City Cup Stage 1
Really nice course on a small island off the coast of Södermalm. I didn't sign up ahead of time, but convinced the organizers to let me run the competitive class and start 30 seconds before the first official start. That worked out well, and I was alone for most of the course. Ran mostly a good race technically, taking routes that worked well for me. I overran #11, looking for a control on a tree when it really sat on a road corner a few meters away from the tree. I was also confused on 19 and lost another 15 seconds there.
I ended up 63rd, nearly 5 minutes down on the very impressive Jonas Leandersson:

It feels like I should be able to run about a minute faster just speed-wise. I think the week after the US Champs and the trip back to Europe from California have taken a toll. Time to get back to training!
Alli did a great job in the women's race, surpassing her goal of beating 2 people by beating 23. :)
A really nice dinner with Andrew afterwards. I love Stockholm City Cups! I wish there were more than just three this year.
