Note
Still at home today, with Alli taking care of me. I was pretty feverish last night, but it seems to have dropped off in the morning. I can get up and walk around and stand, as well as sit for stretches of time. Transitions between positions are the hardest.
Some good news today: the Swedish WOC Team was announced today, and Albin Ridefelt is on it, running middle distance. Albin was 14 when I moved to Uppsala in 2005. At one of my first trainings, a clubmate turned to me and said, pointing to little Albin, "Watch this kid. He will be something special." And he is. Besides being a tremendous orienteer, he is one of the most friendly, open, and down to earth people I know, and I could not be happier for him. This weekend he will be anchoring Linne's team at Jukola, and I'll be cheering for them.
