Barney and I flew back to DC today, while Alli and Inara stayed in Montana for another week. I started the 2018 training year in the usual way: elliptical at the gym.

Leg raises plus much-needed stretching while watching the Crown on Netflix. Great show! And John Lithgow as Churchill is amazing.

A nice long ski with the family to finish out the year. We went to Seeley Lake, which is probably my favorite place to ski in Montana so far. I classicked and, after a little bit, took Inara in the chariot and pulled her behind me. As people pointed out, it was not ideal for being able to stride, so I did a sort of a shortened stride on the uphills, but it worked ok, and I was able to get into a pretty good rhythm. At the end, grandparents took Inara into the heated yurt, and Alli and I did another short loop together, sans baby. A fabulous ski on a beautiful sunny day in Montana!

A long skate ski in some slow conditions while pulling Inara in the stroller for the first time this season. Alli and I skied together most of the time, and we joined Alli's parents for some of the time. Beautiful day, lots of snow after the storm the day before.

Classic skiing at Rattlesnake. I tried pulling Inara behind me, but it was too jerky and her head was bouncing around. We need to figure out how to do this better while classicing. It works just fine while skating...

Skate skiing with Alli and her dad at Pattee Canyon after teleworking all day. Beautiful day and really good conditions. Lots of fun!
