A reprise of last Monday's run in Rock Creek to see if I could manage to get through it without hitting the wall. It went better today. I wasn't fast, but felt stronger than a week ago despite all the muddy hillsides. Nice to get out into Rock Creek on a pleasant afternoon.

Interesting, the Garmin's climb figures for my two identical runs from Monday and today are wildly different: 347m Monday and 214m today. What's going on?

President's Day!
Long run with Charlie in Rock Creek. He wanted to do 11 miles, but we ended up a bit short. I felt pretty good the first half, but my legs suddenly gave out on the climb up to Fort DeRussy and stayed dead the rest of the way. I guess it's been a tough last couple of days, so hopefully they will recover ok. Nice day, and great company for a run. We spent a lot of time complaining about our respective toddlers and then laughing at them.
