Running long (2 hour flat trail run ) 2:15:00 [4] 15.6 mi (8:39 / mi)
slept:9.0 shoes: Hokas

Ran the first 12 miles btwn 8:30-9minute pace.
Mile 12 at 8:10
Mile 13 at 7:56
Mile 14 at 7:54
Mile 15 at 7:26

Last bit was a cool down, I was pretty tired. I couldn't do 16 miles in 2 hours. Should I of been running the former part at a faster pace? It was flat trails.

Ran uphill 5 miles. The last mile was a lot of hiking due to the snow on the trails. Did the 5 miles downhill, my right knee really started bothering me. Ran to a flatter area and back to the car. About 13 miles of the run was hilly, and 5 miles were flat.

Ran 1 mile at 8:30 pace, did :30 minutes flat btn 7:30-8 minute pace felt good. Took a 1 minute water break. Then :30 minutes at 4% incline, 9:05 pace, it was tough but I was able to do it. Did take a 1 minute water brake at minute 15, and added that minute at the end. Did a half mile cool down. Liked the workout.

Was going to make this my flat/hill speed workout but due to the rain and not finding the right hill conditions it was more of a flat/rolling tempo workout on a paved sidewalk area. It was rainy, cold and windy. Knee really started to bother me.

Hilly trail/technical run, mostly uphill on the way up followed by a big downhill. My knee really started to bother me on the downhill. fun course.
