battle PT intervals (Foudy wasn't happy) 2:00:00 [3] 6.37 km (18:50 / km)
shoes: spider magnums

-Skills team dry run. Was a lesson learner
-pace wasn't great from the off,very slow
-each stand went ok ,except for 2...
-obstacle crossing was a success
-carrying injured man wasn't great felt like we could of pushed on a lot
-overall it was a lesson learned and mistakes will happen
-hopefully foudy has cooled down,bring on Tuesday .

gym work warm up/down (Losses / stretch muscles) 30:00 [3]

Various exercises, pull ups,sit ups,squats,lunges,explosive jumps,sit ups,shoulder press with log. A good work out nothing major.
-hills corner will be tested in further weeks
6 PM

running (Steady,loosen legs) 30:00 [3] ** 6.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: sketchers

-decided to see what the 'hill-moister' was all about. A nice steady runner and fitness isn't a problem.
-was a run really to stretch the legs and to get a bit of exercise done
- done one circuit of the 'hill attack' down the back of barracks. Again just too get the muscles working
-finished off with a run to military beach, we nearly lost hill sitting in the water.. Sea water great for recovery!! Hill then orders pizza to get layers for our next trip too the sea!

-skills team headed out for a loaded run
- day sack , chest rig,battle vest,helmet,day sack and smock....very warm To start off..
- once I got through the first 2 k I was good.
- was a good test and was tough.
7 PM

swimming 50:00 [3] 1.0 km (50:00 / km)

-done 300 meters and took 30 second break.
- went at it again and done the 200 meters to make it 500.felt good
- headed for the steam room and done another 500 meters to make it a kilometre .. Felt good and confidence was there

-just said feck it,went. The. Gym hit the tredmill hard ,done a solid 9 k

Monday Aug 19, 2013 #

-light warm up ,with no weight
-threw on the chest rig,flacker(35 pounds) day sack with weight

-6 laps of the barracks doing fart legging
- walk for 50 run for 150 on the left foot
- varied slightly ,overall a tough day after a long weekend
-felt strong the whole way through and kept going

running long (Just kept running) 1:00:00 [3] 13.0 km (4:37 / km)
shoes: sketchers

Got back late too barracks on the Sunday evening,full of energy
- took off heading for salt hill pier,felt good the whole way out legs were moving well
- had a quick 30 seconds of a breath catcher and got going again
- finished strong with a good pace
- legs got sore..very sore
