Made it to YAS for the first time in weeks, for an "all levels" class.

My long absence goes to show that YAS doesn't seem to be a primary source for me any more. Since they dropped the later yoga classes, I find it much more difficult to get there. They don't have early morning yoga classes either; the earliest is 8:30 which is far too late for me. YAS seems to be more about spin these days; which seems contrary to the founder's (Kim Fowler) philosophy and book (which is about yoga for athletes). I guess spin sells better.

Too bad; maybe it's time to consider finding another studio. That fits in with my gut feeling about the year 2014 which in general seems to be about moving on.

San Diego Creek trail, out and back at lunchtime. Mostly flat.

What was that substance in the atmosphere? Might that be what they call "rain"? Whatever, it make the roads slick so we opted to cut the ride short (Andy hates slick roads).

Technology-Barranca-over the bridge-back on Alton and Mauchly loop. We added a bit of distance past the bridge to make the run an even 6. Again no watch; Andy said 9:28 pace based on his phone's app so I'm going with that.

Sunny and cool, light breeze, good conditions. Much more seasonable weather than what we've had most of January.

"Around the horn" course in Irvine at lunchtime. My watch died so no exact time; estimated the pace by counting "1000-one, 1000-2" for the last 1.8 miles (known distance).

Regular Monday run with OCTT, Sheep Hills loop. Decided to be sociable and stick with the "medium slow" group; rather than simply going off alone; thus the slower pace.
