Very ill, some sort of virus I'm guessing. Slept until 3:30pm, about 4 hours longer than I've ever slept in. Feeling completely dazed all days so stayed in bed.

Grass laps
Desperate to get some structured training going but that means starting from the bottom. The format I set myself is fairly mind numbing playing field laps and do a body check every 5 minutes. If I feel I will still be good for another 5 I'll carry on and if I don't think I will I stop. Simple. Probably could have dropped in another 5 today but didn't want to risk it. Its certainly a game of quieting while you're ahead.

Helping out at the STUOC GIAG. Shadowed some newbies round a short loop then went and ran a course by myself. Quite smooth until I got into the woods with lots of little paths, horrible steep and slippy terrain, slid downhill in a mud slide for about 20m at one point.
Physically felt okay on the flat but struggled on any uphill. I don't feel like I'm getting any worse just keep returning to a baseline. I'm keen to get back to grass laps when the snow goes because that has worked well in reintroducing me to running in the past.


40' Badminton. Can't understand how people can play it day in day out without getting bored.
