Orienteering 1:14:17 [4] 8.77 km (8:28 / km) +284m 7:17 / km

Long. Good at the start. Made a mistake in the control circle 8 (the long leg) then faffed around within the circle on 10 meaning Valerie caught up. Not great direction into the butterfly loop then once in messed up 14 by bad direction. Think I was rushing too much + it was very green so hard to maintain direction. Would have been a much better plan to head back to the path and follow the ride anyway. After that a few slight wobbles in the green but ok till spectator then messed up nearly every control. Really need to work out how to maintain focus after spectator/when others are around as this seems to be a common problem.

Relay. Set out on my own and ran the whole thing by myself. One mistake to 2 and some bad lines in the first section but other than that fairly clean. Never had anyone to push me though and was completely in control, just a nice run in the forest really. Time didn't compare too badly to people running in packs.

Sprint. Felt very rushed from the start and wasn't in control at all. Bad route to 2 and 4 in the woods then took the wrong route on the long leg and slightly messing up in the control circle. Even with that in an ok position through spectator then completely messed up. Wasn't concentrating enough/didn't have a good picture then panicked resulting in 2 massive mistakes on what should have been straight forward controls.

Easy round the seat. Chest was really tight yesterday so had a rest day. Not any different today but wanted to do something easy to keep the legs moving and hopefully shift something. At the moment I think it's slightly better now so hopefully I'll be fine by Friday. Other than that feeling good.
