Long. One big mistake when I went slightly off line then convinced myself I was in completely the wrong place. Lost a lot of time on smaller mistakes and hesitations as well, mostly due to really bad distance judgement on the 1:15000 scale and not quite working out what's mapped. Have so much to learn about how best to attack this terrain and learn how to race in it.
Physically had been told it was really tough so was expecting to bonk but never did.

Good to the first 2 controls. However think I started too quickly so concentration went earlier than usual and I made a couple of big mistakes on 3 and 5 (3 min total). Probably didn't take the best route and had some bananas on other controls as well.
But very happy to be able to properly race and be completely ok - something that hasn't happened since the beginning of March (apart from jukola but made too many mistakes for that to count). I know I'm not completely better yet so decided a while ago to not run tomorrow.

Pre-breakfast. Mostly got away with Sunday! But still being careful not to push things too hard. Rocks and wooden planks slippier due to rain anyway. Not as good views due to low clouds but still fun .
