Sunday Mar 24 #

What I'm doing during the day hasn't changed much, but I'm starting to feel relatively good in the evenings and my sleep is now a lot higher quality. I'm beginning to get no affect after exercise and sometimes it's helping. I'm managing to do significantly more as well. Hopefully that will become more and more beneficial as time goes on. Brain fog is still a big issue but I wouldn't be surprised if it's linked to digestion + sleep + pots which hopefully are all improving at the moment.
I'm aware my HR is very high during exercise but I think it's reasonable given that after standing for 10 min at the gp in January my HR was 124. As long as it doesn't affect me for the following couple of days I think it's probably a good thing.

Running 6:29 intensity: (1:24 @1) + (27 @2) + (10 @3) + (52 @4) + (3:36 @5) 0.99 km (6:35 / km) +23m 5:54 / km

Did 35 min meditation yesterday - it wasn't enough without extra rest/relaxation. I'm used to having to rest/relax to get through the day but had energy yesterday and by the time I realised it was too late. Think I need to start attaching it to various things throughout the day rather than just after exercise.
Slept ok, more disrupted than previous days.
Felt almost normal during this apart from breathing. More worried about the delayed fatigue with running. Generally has a bigger affect after a couple of days and not much immediately after, whereas swimming and cycling are the opposite, I think due to intensity.
12 PM

Yoga 20:00 [0]

Feeling the same as I did this morning.

Saturday Mar 23 #

10 AM

Swimming 24:21 [2] 1.36 km (17:54 / km)

400fc, 200bc, 160 IM, 2 X 200fc pull, 200fc. For once muscles weren't sore so a bit quicker than usual, although probably helped by more turns. Feeling really good after, no walk uphill after makes a big difference.
Slept well. Got stressed for a second over pretty much nothing just before I was about to go to sleep. Result was whole body was sweating and body went into dress mode. Thankfully was quite relaxed and tired beforehand so some extra relaxation put my body back into a healing state.

Yoga 20:00 [0]

Slept mostly well. Heading home.

Yoga 13:00 [0]

10 AM

Cycling 25:00 [2]

Felt a bit sleepy before but feeling awake after and body feeling calm (did feel awake for a short period when I got up.) Sleep was good.

Wednesday Mar 20 #

11 AM

Yoga 30:00 [0]

Yin yoga with Matilda.
Sleep was ok, not sure how much I got after 3. Feeling ok.

Tuesday Mar 19 #

Slept more solidly and feeling awake. Swimming was probably a little intense/long cause body working a bit too hard before bed. No stomach pain though which helped with sleep (although did wake up with a stitch). Going to start doing something after every meal whether it's yoga, stretching, walking or something more vigorous. One of the main aims for yoga over Christmas was digestion so hopefully that will help and I've been lazy recently. Have started stretching every night before bed again after a 2 month break.
9 AM

Road running 5:10 intensity: (1:40 @1) + (21 @2) + (14 @3) + (1:21 @4) + (1:34 @5) 0.9 km (5:44 / km)
ahr:160 max:193

Felt a lot easier than last time. Chest less tight and more energy.
1 PM

Yoga 25:00 [0]

Usual light headed feeling during yoga.

Monday Mar 18 #

1 PM

Swimming 25:15 [3] 1.3 km (19:25 / km)

Felt awake momentarily when I woke up. Sleep was best it's been for a while but still woke up ~ 4/5 times.
400fc, 200bc, 200 IM (managed 40m fly before feeling weak which taking out turns is more like 30m), 2 X (100fc kick, 50fly lateral kick), 200fc.
Have very little power at the moment. Almost feels like I'm swimming in slow motion but can't go any quicker. Miss the feeling of trying aerobically but at the same time know that I'm not ready for that from a health point of view; guess it's a good thing.
