Running 24:32 intensity: (9 @0) + (9 @1) + (1:42 @2) + (8:07 @3) + (14:25 @4) 4.19 km (5:52 / km) +19m 5:44 / km
ahr:167 max:183 rhr:49

Sleep good. Feeling better again.
Energy felt ok on run but hr pretty high and more tired than I'd like after. Always forget how quickly my ability to run with minimal consequence disappears if I don't do it. Think I either need to go back to doing it more often or not do it at all. (or go for veeeery short runs). Even swimming took a few swims for my body to be ok with it again and running's way harder

Yoga 20:00 [0]

Probably overdid it a little today. Shoulders felt like they were on the edge of getting injured past couple of swims, but hadn't realised that quite a lot of my upper body is sore until this. Good thing that I'm having a few forced days off.

Swimming 48:44 [3] 1.5 km (32:29 / km)
rhr:51

Sleep a bit light again. Feeling a bit better overall though and once again feeling better than this morning post swim.

Fun and games with Helen and Juliet, introducing them to some of the more wackier drills.

Something like
250 as 200fc, 50brs.
4 x 100IM order kick with 50fc in the middle

Drills with some fc lengths interspersed:
Double bc arms, brs legs
Brs arms fly legs
50 corkscrew
50 Biondi
2 x 50 Brs underwater phase
50 scull
100 waving hands.
Possibly something else but I can't remember

Swimming 36:34 [3] 1.6 km (22:51 / km)
rhr:52

Sleep better, think I was probably awake 2-3 and not sure about the mornings.
Feeling tired this morning but much better after swim.

With Juliet.
400 as 200fc, 200bc,
400 as 200fc, 200brs
2 x 200IM as kick, drill
400 mix

Note
rhr:53

Didn't get to sleep till 4am. Too hot. Chest is always hot to touch at night but it was especially hot last night.
12 PM

Swimming 28:49 [3] 1.4 km (20:35 / km)

3 x (200fc, 200bc)
~200 mix. Got stuck behind someone going v. Slowly and they didn't stop at the end. Ended up trying to scull but realised I'm even worse than I used to be lol. Literally was going nowhere so gave up and just waited at the ends and did some non swimming movements. Also lost track of lengths so possibly 250
3 PM

Note

Best of felt for a while, classic. Very glad cause Wednesday is most intense uni day

Note

In 2017 and 2018 things started to unravel into major setbacks around about now. In 2019 I got through October but novermber was one of the worst months and probably the only month I went backwards. In 2019, as far as I'm aware I didn't do anything differently to normal. Although it could just be a coincidence, it seems unlikely given that it's getting colder and darker quite quickly. Think I crashed on Sunday so naturally a bit worried about what could happen. Hope is the t/s/k will stop it being such a big deal this year but it's hard to tell. Possiy I'm underdoing ki now, but I'm also worried about taking too much because the effects off too much aren't fun either.
1 PM

Swimming 25:26 [3] 1.2 km (21:12 / km)
rhr:50

Sleep ok, a but light in places. 14 hours in bed though so pretty tired. Feeling marginally better than last couple of days.
Not sure if swim was a good idea or not. In some ways feeling better after which I think is a good sign. Still pretty tired though but that would have been the case whatever and good to move a bit. Been feeling out if breath during daily life stuff past few days so keeping it super chill/slow mo

Note
rhr:49 (rest day)

Sleep pretty good. Woke up a couple of times but nothing major. Chest still dodgy and could do with more energy so another day off it is.
