JEC Long
Very fun but also quite terrible race. Being first start wasn't nice but not the reason why I did so badly. Good enough start then got caught in the crap to 4. Took a pretty good route to 6, right on the track then up the little track, but completely missed the stream and took I while before I turned back. Got the control at the same time as a Swede so went with him down to the track to 7, managed to miss this one as well being on the wrong side of the thicket and got caught by Hakon here. Solid train round the next couple of controls. Coming out of 11 I was very stupid, Swede went straight down south and Hakon followed the wall out to the track, I got a bit caught inbetween and tried to cut through the crap and ended up being very stuck and annoyed with myself. Eventually got onto the track and was thinking my race was completely over but as I cut onto the next track I got caught by Curiger and Nathan so ran with him down the track and into the woods. I was being dropped a bit in the terrain but luckily they missed the control so I got a little lead. I was uncertain what to do for the next one as new I needed to hang onto Curiger so eased off the pace a little to see what he was doing. He nearly got away when I cut down the track and he carried on but with a big burst through the green I got onto the back of him, Nathan seemed to go his own way though. Annoyingly as we reached the first control of the phi loop he was on the other gaffle. Steady round the phi loop meant I caught Hakon back up. After the green he was stronger but manged to tail him to spectator. Then to my surprise Curiger appeared again on the way to 23 and flew past, my legs were dead on the hill to 24 and completely lost concentration for 24 and 25 losing a couple of minutes. Interesting race.

JEC Relay- leg 2
Tim didn't have too much fun and came in a bit down but I did have a couple of people to run with initially. Messed up the first two a little bit but then settled down and pulled ahead of Jake and the other two a few controls before spectator. Then was pretty much on my own for the rest, quite enjoyed the marshy flatter bit and was going okay, once I got back in to the open bit I lost a fair bit of time though with some silly mistakes.

JEC sprint
Scrappy in the forest section but not too bad, then took a very bad route on the long one, meant to head straight down but missed the turning and ended up coming down some slow steps. Reasonable for the rest just a bit slow.
