Feeling rubbish and want the knee thing to settle a bit more so thought I'd take a couple of days off.

First full rest since August 1st so was a good stint.

Not feeling the best and wasn't particularly enjoying the battle with the terrain but was going okay until a largeish mistake at 9 meant Tam caught me up. Ran pretty much together for the rest until I decided to try and be different on the penultimate control and spooned 2 minutes, whoops.

20 min tempo on KF, 3rd session there in 6 six days, wow.

Didn't do hills with Tim and Tam as thought it'd stress the knee and wasn't sure I could hack them anyway, so settled for this instead. It was quite tough to get going and had the usual wind to contend with but I did something at least.

Into Pentlands from Kings. To ski center then stayed low before popping up Allermuir and back on the ridge. Felt naff so kept it slow and shorter this week. Knee not enjoying steep descents again.

Started quite hard in an attempt to assert some dominance so last couple of 3s felt like a grind but running alright still. Thought I had the 1s in the bag until William Rigg came alongside me on the final rep, held off his initial attack but legs went pop on his second surge.. maybe next week.

Struggling to press lap on my watch so some of the splits are a little out.
