Bobbin Head - Mt Colah loop with Prong.

Felt alright, we did 9'20 up Bobbin, not bad considering wasnt going for it.

Nice coffee and pie from the french patisserie in Wahroonga.

Solid run around Mac Uni Sports Fields. Pushed for 15min building speed.

Run around (not all the way) Lake Ginninderra before start of AROC. Middle 20min was a bit tempoish. Felt tired pretty quick, not too running fit.

Achilles warmed up, but never felt particularly great. Didnt feel that good all day actually. Maybe cycling is bad period.

2 x 10 x 1 min with 30s rests and 2 min between sets.

found it really tough this week, not sure if its residual from the A-League final viewing or that i was up a gear from last week and it was bloody hot.

Jogged down and around a little as the Stingers did intervals. Farewell session for Fel.

Took about 10 min to warm-up, then achilles just felt better and better.

Achilles not hurting the next morning at all really! Whitch doctor?

this is ridiculous. im not doing anything and the pain is getting worse. i get an acute pain down base of my fibula walking at times now.

easy run with Mace. Raining and Lane Cove river was super high.

Achilles im not sure about. can feel it but it doesnt hurt a lot. i got that weird lateral pain after 20min though so stopped running uphill. not sure what to think which is the worst thing.

Control picking on Woodhill. most without compass. then took a compass magnifier out. was quite good, useful will think about getting one. would take a little getting used to, but potentially valuable for fine detail into controls and in super complex areas. woodhill is so awesome.
Orienteering race 45:00 [4]*****

Ran most of it really hard. ballsed up long leg a bit and then 13-14, about the 4th leg in the low vis. really bad mistake and walked rest of course once relocated as was getting a bit long to be running and was easier to orienteer.

Rested achilles. Felt it a little yesterday.

Jog around part of the training course. Awesome fun. Some coastal, some fast, and some in the low vis.

Tuesday Feb 6

Jogged around 2 loops (my first and the last) of the loop race. Was really fun. Achilles seems fine.

Monday Feb 5

Park Race - Spa Park, Taupo.

Ran hard, achilles felt just a little near the end on the long uphill leg. Absolutely buggered though, feels like I haven't run in years.

Solid navigation, one mistake really which cost 10s, and a little sloppy but ok.

for the sprint.

Earlier in the day I walked the first half of the relay course. Was fun getting out there, and not too frustrating walking.

5 x 8min intervals. bloody solid although first couple were probably a little too easy. Made up for it in the end.
