GPS - FRWD. finished way down. absolutely gutted. started really well. made a ~2min mistake at no. 5 i tihnk. Ross Morrison caught me. Ran behind him for a couple of controls, struggled to hang on then Shep came through and I was dropped straight away. then made a 3 min mistake couple of controls later. pretty avg after that. no big mistakes just maybe a bit sloppy. but got slower and slower. just really felt it bad out there. feel like something is wrong cos that didnt feel normal. people suggesting its in my head... GPS - FRWD. race was ok. didnt feel like i got in a flow either physically or navigationally but not too bad none the less. was reasonable disciplined except for a big mistake that cost me 3 min. kinda felt like i was losing it over a couple of controls as i was getting tired but just didnt do enough about it. disappointed with physical run as although i kept it solid, i had to work really hard for it and i reckon i could just run 2 min quicker at least. Not a particularly exciting race but quite tough with the climb. Had a good run, kept o nice and solid. one mistake that cost me 20s. Did wobble abit towards the end when tired which cost me a little and hesitated a couple of times with uncertainty. Happy that I got back on top quickly each time. Physically tired from ride yesterday and quads didnt have much going uphill. Hopefully a lighter week and will be raring to go. Feel reasonably fit but missing a top end. Good place to be for Nationals but perhaps not for Test Match next weekend. Just held off Gareth who is running bloody well over a long course at the moment. Caught Blair into sight bout half way round but couldnt catch him. Think he is quite fit at the moment! | ||

started ok, bit flat, then had big problems and only ran 13 of the 16 hills. From splits its obvious. Basically I started throwing up and having cold sweats like when ya sick. Dont think I'm sick tho. Have had a bad stomach for the last couple of weeks and reckon its related. I ate a lot about 2 hours before session which is normally fine but maybe its not with the stomach issues ive been having. Bit pissed off, feel like I wasted the session. Felt not bad, orienteered quite well although missed one section of very thin but very thick green on the map which caused a change in routechoice mid-leg which is rarely good. | ||

Good session, tried to keep it solid. I find these intervals quite hard, I'm possibly quite underdone as well tho. Legs a bit tired from all the spinning I think too. Awesome WOC, but I am really struggling with the sleep patterns and lack of sleep. I really need my 9 hours a day. Good session although didnt flog myself quite as bad as last time. Think it was a combination of learning from the pain last week and having a much softer instructor. Bastard at the front desk ripped up my free pass. Something about it was a 5 consecutive day pass and that I had just been using it when I wanted. Its not my fault they are incompetent and dont write the dates on. So I gave them a fake address and mobile no so they dont harrass me like last week. Sorry if you have the same mobile no. as me but with a 3 at the end instead of a 2. | ||
