Sunday Nov 12

Run long 1:30:00 [3]
(sick) shoes: New Balance 872 OR
Longish run with Jules, Shep and Andy. Really felt under the weather. Think I'm gettting sick although a small hangover always confuses the issue.

From Jervis Bay village, some nice views.

Cruisy run with Andy around Crookhaven Heads (?). Felt good.

Friday Nov 10

Run 47:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance 872 OR
Wentworth Falls

Actually first time I have been there. So awesome, cant believe I havent seen them before. Had an awesome run from te town down the falls and around a few lookouts... apart from having to crawl on a few paths to ensure I wouldnt trip and fall down the rather large cliffs. Woth John T.
Note
U2 Concert

Can't not comment. It was awesome. After 2 days of listening to med students crap on about polymorphisms, viral vectors and acronyms of enzymes/genes I have never heard of, and academics crap on about research objectives, journal impact factors and grants (ie how its about research that makes money - not good research) the concert was a refreshing change. One of those moments in your life you just want to keep going although in hindsight you realise that would lessen the experience anyway. I was truly in awe of Bono and the power that he portrayed on stage, and created in the crowd. Telstra stadium was seriously bouncing. Not quite a life changing overwhelmed with goosebumps experience, but pretty bloody close.

Quite a cool run. Decided to ditch some conference seminars for a long run. Started a little slow and felt a bit tired but felt better and better as I went on. Until the last 20min crawl that is. Ran some cool tracks along the escarpment north of leura until I hit a spot just north of Leura Cascades and then dropped down into the valley. Knew it was going to be a tough climb out but figured it would be good for me. Nice run. Need to get up here for a big training weekend again some time.

Hill intervals with Stingers group (Andy, Phoebe, Jose and Josephine - Swede)

Sydney Parks, so the usual, up one side then the other. We did 12, 6 each side. Good session for first half but then just couldnt keep going at same intensity and slowed a little. Andy powered on. He is in good shape! Finished last few quite strong, and hurt so much I couldnt talk for quite a bit. Really tough session.
