Running 45:00 [3] 9.0 km (5:00 / km)

pre act, ass class, out and back run, drills, strides, hip mobility, strength, roll, rope.


Ran from the house in the morning. Plan to do pool post work because it was supposed to get hotter. I did the extra stuff with the run because I wanted to get it over with. Felt okay, faster the second half. Just relaxed and enjoyed the run.

Bike to work on adrenaline rush.

So, there's a bike path by my house that I use to get to work and anywhere from my house to Kelowna. There's the two little poles that prevent larger vehicles from going through. I was busting my ass to get to work because I was running a little late. It started to rain so I put my face down because I didn't want my makeup to smear… I knew the pole was coming up soon so I looked up and what do you know? There it was. I hit it full force, landed on top of it and lady sacked myself. My bikes handle bars looked rough and the back tire somehow jammed into the frame. I think I bruised an ovary. The worst part was it was rush hour and there was a gigantic line of people waiting at the red light and watched it all happen. Only one gentle man stopped, all I could do was hold back tears and give a shitty thumbs up.
I biked my ass off to work because I was so adrenalized and in pain.


So, I'm not doing pool today because my ovary hurts.

I'll try running tomorrow and see how my ovary feels then.

pre act, 15 WU, 2x(4x2 min 5km race pace w/1 min), 2 min between sets, CD to 55, push and sit.

Another late workout. Super tired and exhausted feeling from the heat. Felt a lot better when the pace picked up. Made the best running at the end and focused on having good form when tired.

hot gander through some trails. feeling okay, a little tired from work, running, and friends. Feeling relatively good, just hot and lazy.

It was super hot out today, didn't workout till 10 pm and it was still plus 25. Focused on being flowy and smooth. I want to start moving away from having shitty form when I run hard. I worked on being focused and efficient. The second half could have been better, it felt super flowy and relaxed, but too relaxed. I still had some guts left. Overall great starting point, excited to get faster.

worked all day, went to hot yoga at 7:30 pm right after work. So sore and tired.

biking from work to yoga, yoga to home. Was so sore and tired, rough getting started on the bike but felt good to get blood flowing through them.

Haven't decided what to do tomorrow, either long run, or prep day for race then long run monday. I can't do the actual race because I have to work too soon before it, but the course will be flagged out and I can TT it.

So early in the morning with Bry. Was tough starting out and in the middle I was questioning why I was awake, but it became a pretty good run. We went to Crawford park and it was pretty hilly and hill climbs.
