Running (Shakeout ) 25:00 [3] 5.0 km (5:00 / km)

Pre-race day shakeout through out the course. Felt like I had next to no sleep from the night before so I was feeling pretty tired. I was also really excited to race too so that alone gave me a bit of energy

Running 1:00:00 [4] 12.0 km (5:00 / km)
slept:7.0

Pre-active
15 min warm-up (3k)
5 min tempo
Active warm-up (1.5)
6x200's (2) with 30 sec recovery bw reps, 2 min be sets
5 min tempo
15 min cool down
Push & sit

Overall, this was not a bad workout I was actually feeling a lot better from yesterday. It was a nice change running the 200's since they were obviously a lot faster than our usual workouts. I averaged about 40-41 seconds for the 200's. The first tempo was hard starting out for some reason but I made myself stay with the group. And the last tempo actually went well I was surprised I still ran well and didn't have much lactic acid affecting me from the 200's.

No pool workout for me today since I got really sick that morning. Just a 30 min run which was pretty slow I was feeling weak from being sick that morning

Running (Steady/surge) 50:00 [4] 11.0 km (4:33 / km)

Pre-active
15 min warm-up (3k)
15 min of 3:30 steady, 30sec surge
15 min cool-down (3k)
1 hill stride
Push & sit

This was good, stuck right with the girls the whole time which was good cause that really pushed me. It felt fast and was overall a good effort. I remember at one point I even had to ask Keltie if we were already on surge (which we weren't) because we were rolling pretty good.
On a side note, the ankle felt good the whole time except at the very end when I rolled it yet again

Running (Long run) 1:00:00 [3] 12.0 km (5:00 / km)
slept:7.5

It was a good run, started out faster than usual and was consistent through out. Felt like it went by faster than usual too maybe since it was only an hour. Overall, it was an above average run and I have no complaints, I didn't even roll my ankle for once in my life!
