Yay! Really happy with this one! Helped me to realize why I love doing this again. Ran this very well tactfully. Can't believe how strong I actually felt today. I think having all those days of rest really helped my body. Felt really nervous going in but luckily it was the good nervous. Best start I've had in a long time. Decided to try a new stance that wouldn't cause me to fall over before the gun and it proved to work much better :p Felt so good during the first 200. Kinda ran into some people during the merge and got boxed behind a row of youngsters. They were going slower than I thought I should go so decided to make my way around them starting about 300 into the race. Ran around in lane 3 for a while lol then finally passed them and took the lead and surged the second lap. A bison chick passed me at about 200 to go but then I was feeling super strong and saw an opening on the inside so I went for it. Thought of nothing but Bishop at that moment and how she made that move to get the silver at worlds and those thoughts were what carried me strongly to the finish. Such an enjoyable experience this was today. And even with running this time I feel like there is more there :) Feels good! No better feeling than running well.

This was fun. Kayla took us to where the good trails are at in Hamilton. Body felt a bit sluggish to start but felt better after stretching and strides. Body feeling rested. Enjoying my time here with the girls as well as seeing new places. We rented a small house for 2 days through airB&B and it's so cozy!

Got in a good quality active along with some 100's before the races started. Feeling nervous for my 800 on Tuesday but not going to let it affect the next 2 days. Inspired by the awesome 1500's I watched!

Felt a bit rough today. Did this with Hanna who was shaking out for tomorrow. Legs are feeling a bit tired/ stiff and foot was sore. Hotttt in TO! also some red ants had an absolute feast on my left arm pit during hip-mob... ITCHY.

I didn't think this went that well. I think maybe I was a bit too nervous and scared for this one, to the point where I kinda forgot what I was supposed to be doing. The gun went off and I swear my reaction time was just awful. Like I think I might have actually stepped backwards first and I for sure almost fell over again before the gun. I did the first 200 in a 32 but the rest of the heat was just gone and it was me and some girl lingering off the back for the next 400m. I think this may have hurt me mentally through the middle. Attempted to turn on the guns at 250 to go but I was only able to keep up with the girl ahead of me. I just felt really terrified the whole time and really tense. I want to want to do this but today I was just wishing I was somewhere else because of how I felt. I need to learn how to enjoy the process.

This was pretty good. I had fun doing speed today :) Was feeling kinda awful during the warm up. The tempo wasn't great. Body felt heavy and wasn't feeling very well overall. Felt better after the workout than I did before. Active was also a bit of a struggle. The speed felt actually really good today tho. The 40m's felt smooth and fast. Really enjoyed the 150's. Went out smooth and then found that I was able to reach another gear at the end of each. My gear changing abilities are improving :) Excited for the upcoming week! :)
