This was decent. Something not like I've ever done before that's for sure. Did this with Tash. We went out at off day pace for the first lap. Tempo'd the second lap and then focused on pushing from further out on the third lap. Ran in the moment for the most part. Thought I did this well but I did notice I had a good kick still left in the last 200m so perhaps should have started draining the tank a bit earlier so that it would have been more difficult to access that at the end. I was impressed with my fitness and even though that last stretch really hurt I noticed that I recovered fairly quickly so leads me to think that there is more there and it will be interesting to see how I can run with lots of bodies around. It's nice to see the big gains I have made since doing a 2 lap progression a couple weeks back with van. My 2nd and 3rd laps today were quite a bit quicker than the 2 laps I did on that day. Got in some great strength afterwards as well.
Note: Slept okay last night but it still wasn't how I usually sleep. Noticed some sinus & throat mucus before the workout. However the workout ended up going well and post workout I felt back to normal tired me. I think I will sleep better tonight after this. Sinuses are clear...extra orange juice for me today!
