This was decent today. Pretty calm before I got to the track. Then I felt pretty nervous during the warm up. Jittery on the line. Legs felt super peppy and ready to run fast tho as soon as I put my spikes on. First lap was strong and confident. Went out in a 30-29. Taking the lead. The second lap was where I lagged a bit. Settled and let one girl pass me. I made it my goal to catch her during the last lap and I think I pretty much ran as hard as I could during the last lap. So splits were like 30, 34, 33. Need to be more confident on that middle lap and trust that more is there. Think about racing and not about the pain I will endure. Overall a decent step in the right direction. Happy to be able to do a 4x4 afterwards too. It was fun. I wanted to get a lot out of it so I ran out hard and then just held on. It was weird. I don't feel I could have gone any faster than I went but it was as if my body was fitter than how fast I was able to go. It was tough but I wasn't able to get to that super painful lactic acid threshold. I don't get it. Oh well. Not a bad time. Much better 400 time than I had run in the summer months.

A nice shake-out after the long car ride. Body feeling pretty stiff. Left hip flexor feels like garbage after road trips. Right toe still pretty sore from when I stubbed it on Thursday. Heavy legs but this shake-out will do what it needs to. A little loopy this evening. Like in many ways...I actually forgot I was in the ice tub so went way OT.

This was decent. The 200's were strong and cruisy while being fast. I think it's the best I've ever done with being fast while being super relaxed. Found the 2mins to be almost too much recovery. So I attempted to go harder the second set. Found myself to only really maintain what I did the first set tho. Only really started to feel the lactic during the last 2. Hope I did this right. Found it hard but not as hard as the 300 wo I did last week. Maybe just fitter too? The 150's however I found to be more difficult than the 100's I did last week. Fairly smooth but not as effortless as last week. Think I'm finally starting to get used to running track workouts this early.

This was good. Found my body to feel incredibly exhausted today. I wasn't feeling sleepy tired but my body just wasn't moving how I wanted it to. The running A's were focused but I just found I couldn't get to that next gear today just because my muscles feel so tired. I think it must be from weights. Left hip flexor is really sore. I went home after pool and it was a struggle to do anything. My body just wanted rest.

This was great. The outside stuff was soo tough today. Went out hard for the first 3 mins then paid for it for the rest of the workout. I'm not sure why it was so tough. It was so tough to go right into CD and for most of the recoveries for that matter. Build ups very good. Felt fast today. The down and backs were good quality and floaty. Just now gotta transfer all this good stuff into the race on the weekend.

This was pretty good. Was feeling a bit mentally off today and just felt like running alone for the first part anyways. Running quality was good tho. The trails were really nice.
