I thought this went really well. Thought it was going to be super tough and didn't really know what to expect so started conservatively with a 37. Then rolled down the first set and found I was running 35's fairly easily. Got after it during the 2nd and 3rd set and they were averaging 35's as well. Finished with a couple 34's and was on the ground by the end. I don't trust that I'm able to get as good a Saturday workout in by myself as I would with the team so I buckled down and did some extra fast stuff at the end just for an added burn. Overall I was happy with the Saturday effort and feel confident about having run those times on a rocky path.

Went on an 8hr excursion today on the ocean :) Got to snorkel / swim and eat lobster. Fun day. Didn't do a lot physically besides swim.

This was good. Got some good work in today. Not used to the heat yet so that was an added challenge. Found it very difficult to keep going but proud of myself for getting in the work and just running strong in the moment. On the ground at the end.

Decent off day. Scoped out the area and found some good soft surface type areas to do my workouts on. Feeling at ease now that I know there are places to run. Pretty tired from travel. Sooo nice and warm here :)

This was good. Really engaged the hip flexors during the running A's. The heart rate didn't get that high but the knees did. Awful sleep but got in some good work. Had to nap afterwards.

This was good. Got this done after coaching so that I wouldn't have to figure out how to do it in Cuba. Step ups were tough. Pretty exhausted. Looking forwards to getting in some good rest over the next week.

This was good. Tempo was not as smooth as usual and I think a bit slower than average. Legs were heavy today. The hard minutes were a good effort but just a bit tougher due to leg fatigue. Strong tho. The fast stiff felt a bit forced and could be faster. Did what I could today with what the body was able to do. Mentally in check. Jumps afterwards are always a great challenge.

This was alright. Us girls decided we wanted to run somewhere different so we quite literally just googled random dirt roads in Thunder Bay and came up with Alice Ave. lol which went into Melbourne. Had an adventure anyways. Rolled it out at the end. The hail hurt my soul. Body is tired.
