This was good! Finally getting somewhere:) Gonna be honest I was mentally such a mess before this I was having trouble warming up. Somehow managed to get my crap together as soon as I was on the line. We went out quick then kinda bunched up at 200m's. I then kinda floated to 400m's in a 66 but I was at the back of the pack. Told myself to hold on no matter what. At about 450m's I remember something flew into my eye and I was trying to get it out lol. Then at 500m's I kinda told myself "what are you doing? You can outrun these girls...this isn't as hard as I'm making it out to be". Then my whole body suddenly strangely relaxed and I started to easily and efficiently move past the pack and made my way up into 2nd place with 200m's to go! Turned on the gas in the homestretch and was neck and neck with a girl beside me who had a bit more sauce left than I did. While that was happening I didn't really realize that I was coming up bit of a collision as I was passing the line so it may have slowed me down a bit in terms of time. Happy with the time after the crap races I've been really close to first place. We kinda just met at the finish line which led to a having. Feel like there is still more there just have to use it more efficiently. Had fun with the process today during the race. Used the people and concentrated on competing and not focusing on the end result.
