Beautiful run today with some beautiful people. Wouldn't have wanted to spend my Saturday morning doing anything else. This is what Paige kept saying as the run was happening :) Did the old out and back and ended up running about 20s faster on the way back. Legs and body were feeling tired today. Legs heavy. Hips feeling better than they did before yesterday's race.

This was okay. Good parts and not so good parts I would say. I went out super confident and almost out front. then the pack bottle necked and I felt I was being pushed back a bit/ trying to get around people. I remember having some strange split second belief that I was going to win the race in the first 200m's haha. I think because I went hard off the start I had trouble getting into Tempo breathing after that. I remember hitting that long hill and just feeling myself slow down drastically and a bunch of girls passed me. I also remember not feeling very much momentum on the down hills because on the weakness I felt going up. My hills today were very much a shuffle and lacking the juice. I remember making a conscious effort to pass people from 2-3k but again as soon as I hit those hills everything went into slow motion. I definitely didn't pass as many people this year as I did the last 2 times I ran this course even when I felt I was putting in the effort. Managed to open up the stride in the last down hill to the finish but overall I was pretty disappointed with my turn over out there today.

I did notice a few mentally low moments out there today where I noticed I was looking at the ground and caving in but I would notice them and when I did I would correct them by keeping my eyes up and chest up. A faster time than last year at least and the field was much stronger. Need to get in deeper next time tho. Really appreciated the support out there from the random girls I was competing against. When I finished I began dry heaving but nothing was coming up. I wasn't feeling very well during the cool down so I think my body may just be feeling the high mileage week. Not sure if I should have done weights this week either. I did them on Tuesday but I hit them pretty hard for the first time in a while and maybe too much leg stuff. I want to do weights to keep up my strength and power but not really sure when or how much I should do.

Overall I know I put in some really good effort today and this whole week and it was a great stepping stone that will only make me stronger for the end of the season races

Also really loving hanging out with this new young team that has really come together from all different parts and isn't afraid of putting in the work. Everyone seems to just accept what it is they have to do in order to get better. I feel they have a lot of potential as individuals and as a group and there is no telling where they could go. <3

This was good. Focused on getting the tempo at tempo and seeing if I could go faster while still being at tempo. Really played with that line. The hard stuff in the middle was okay. I think my pins are pretty dull in those spikes because I was slipping all over the place today and think that if I could have just gotten a grip it would have been a lot faster. Put in some good effort. We went out at a risky effort and I just tried to hold on. Put in the work I needed to put in today.

This was great today. Really pushed it in the pool and attempted to rig after every interval in the second half. Worked at putting myself in an uncomfortable position and just sticking with it. HR = 33 today. Finding these shorter intervals really hard but really good for me to work on. Strides were okay. Need to focus on running full out and relaxed.

47 min Run w Paigie @ Centennial

This was fun. Nice chats and company. We even went a bit overtime but wasn't too upset since it is an up week. Wandered into the gravel roads around Trowbridge. Looking forwards to this upcoming weekend. :):)

This was good. Kinda made up a session but based it off of what Paul used to give us. Wasn't able to do this last weekend so I figured I'd get some stuff done today. Nothing too crazy. Kept the weight fairly heavy but did less reps.

Good Long Run today. Got in some big mileage for me. Felt decent off the hop but as soon as we hit about 25-35 mins my legs were hurtin and I was having trouble staying with the girls. Felt light and fairly floaty at the end tho and rolled er in nicely. We took the middle trail through centennial for a change today which had no shortage of hills.

This was good today. Felt surprisingly really good off the first hill and kept up with the guys for about the first 5 mins of running then it hit me a bit and I was having trouble keeping up with Paige. We went through the tiny windy trails that I thought I didn't like and my thoughts were confirmed again today. Was slippin and sliding all over the place and just wanted out of there. It was better quality running when we got out. Finished with my best running at the end. Right hip only feeling slightly tight. Pretty tired after this I went home and had a 2 hour nap.
