This went well. Started the 2 laps about 20mins into the run. Paige got a bit of a gap on me but I never let the gap get any bigger. Heading into the second lap I was feeling good and made a move past her. I was focusing on keeping that good turn over and up tall posture. I really wanted to run without doing any of my classic head throw backs gasping for air. I can only recall doing this once today. I practiced running smooth and smiling too. I felt strong to the finish and was able to go into the rest of the run fairly easily today. Pretty happy considering the short night for me as I worked a night shift last night to get some extra cash so didn't get to bed until 5am. I'm sure it will hit me later today. Fun times after practice as well. Paige, Derek and I stayed behind afterwards to discuss team dynamics and essentially talk about our feelings lol. Between having those chats and my lack of sleep I think Paige and I were feeling pretty emotional by the end of it all haha. It was really nice talking with D-man :)
