This was good. Wasn't feeling like doing much at all today. Had low motivation going in but I was super glad to have Soc-Doc there with me today and it was enjoyable once we got started and the time seemed to fly by. Went longer than I thought I would. Left side is feeling tight and sore.

Today was rough and not the kind of slap in the face i wanted. I really suffered through this today. Started out with Dylan and Bekk's who dragged me along nicely. I was fairly focused at this point. My breathing got very out of control today and I think it was one of the things that was making me feel so dizzy and light headed as the workout went on. I was also fighting demons in my head. I was thinking how I was feeling bad that Dylan and Rebekkah had to hold back on their workout because of me. I was more focused on how I was feeling rather than putting in the Saturday effort. I would push but there was more settling today. Feeling frustrated with the footing and feeling super drained from running on the grass.
Loosing confidence in myself as the workout progressed and feeling more and more cold and light headed. The last 1k I did feel better once I had spikes on and told myself to go for it. Form seemed to change drastically about 400m in and lifting my legs seemed very difficult. I remember my hands and arms feeling very cold. I stumbled a lot to the finish and I felt like my body was having trouble supporting itself. Once I finished I felt very off and tearful. I couldn't move my hands so had to rip my spikes off. I don't think I've ever felt that soaked cold feeling like that before and it wasn't fun. All I could think about was getting warm and to me that meant the sauna. It felt like the longest walk ever getting inside and when I finally got to the sauna I filled the 2 milk jugs with warm water and sat there with one hand in each for 20 mins and just felt so out of it and wanted to stay in there forever. Not sure what to make of today but all I can do is move forwards and refocus my efforts on the next workouts and races. Looking forwards to running in Hamilton next week :)

This was good. Wasn't the most focused as I had my oral nursing exam today right after but got in a good off day effort. The exam went quite well so feeling a big stress relief and a lot of weight lifted off my shoulders. Feeling excited for the future:)

Good workout! Kept it relaxed but fast for the tempo. The hard stuff in the middle was decent. Found the footing a bit of an extra challenge in terms of slipperyness today but embraced and put in the effort. Attacked the 100m Stuff then focused on continuously pushing the 200m stuff. Breathing was very out of control and I had to remind myself to relax. Recovered fast and the recovery felt very long today. Enjoyed having Poppy there as a workout buddy today! Had fun and I even got to enjoy a nice rain on the way back :)

Great stuff today. Got the most out of drills. Got in deep on the running A's and felt myself embracing! Focused on pushing while staying relaxed. Really got into that burn today and had fun!

Nice run on my own then with the girls. Tried out my new shoes and so far so good. My right big toe nail is black! Probably from my other shoes I wore at times that were a little snug. It's just a little sore and annoying but it's not pain.

Awesome Tempo today. Worked with Ben which was fun! Was having some digestive issues in the last set so kinda slowed down because I wasn't sure what was happening. It seemed to pass but that moment was enough for Ben to gap me a bit. I kept playing with that line and was moving pretty quick today even though my legs were feeling stiff. Got into hill strides and my legs were feeling really sore! Took a few strides before I felt I could really turn on the speed. Good cool down. Felt very stiff sitting down to do hip mobility lol. Feeling all that good training I've put in today!

Great long run today. Got in some good hills. Body is feeling good. Blister is in its last stages of healing me thinks. Feeling strong and fit. Excited for the upcoming week of training and embracing.
