This was good! I though I went out conservative but turns out our first circuit was much faster than the rest even though the effort increased drastically. Worked with Hailee and Kayla which was great because they would gap me on the recovery and I would do everything I could to get back with them on the uphills. I thought it would eventually lead to me not being able to catch them but I was successful with this technique until the end and it remained pretty even after 4 hills. Not sure what to think of my performance. I kinda feel like I should be better at this type of workout than I have been for the past few years but I've come to terms in that as long as I get to a Saturday Effort by the end then that's all that matters. I focused on staying relaxed today and found my breathing to be a lot more manageable and I never experienced that panic feeling of not being able to breath. Mentality was good today too :) Had fun! Bye-bye girls!

This was good. Feeling tired and a bit of generalized soreness. Wickets are challenging for me. Need to lift my heels up a bit more when I'm running full out I think. The girls wickets feel too close together but the guys feel too far apart. I think I might go back to try the girls again for next week. My hamstring has been feeling good with the fast stuff this week!

Great Session. The weights have been really challenging for me this week. Breathing was very out of control after each set of lunges. I can already feel such great benefits from doing the deadlifts again :)

This was good. I was having a bit of a rough day so I'm happy with the effort and focus I was able to put in and overall. Felt winded on the WU Loop. When tempo started I got left in the dust which lead to me to get into some negative self talk. I think I need to learn to be kinder to myself. I just tried to keep in tempo effort and surprised myself in almost running a PB! That was confusing. Active felt good. My hammy was only popping a bit but it seemed to subside. Excels felt decent! The brazillians were strong and challenging. I think next week will be a bit smoother tansition wise as I now know what to expect. I felt like an absolute dodo out there today. Just need a bit of tuning for the track but I'm feeling pretty strong! Need to make sure my mentality for positive self worth is in check. December seems to be a bit of a challenging dark time for me sometimes. Really going to miss the girls next week<3

15 mins of 2:30 Steady, 30s Surge

This was a bit of a rough one today. Went out feeling strong and confident but it got pretty tough pretty fast and my turn over became very heavy and weak. My breathing was very out of control today and this seemed to really wake up the lungs. Feeling a bit out of shape, more than usual for this time of year which concerned me a bit. I'm hoping that today was just a bit of a rust buster and can only get better from here on. Excited to be back into training. My leg felt good for the workout and warm up but during the cool down the inside of my left knee was really sore and achy. I didn't feel like I could push the cool down any harder as I felt I might be limping a bit. It's still the hammy just in a different area now. Will keep on top of it.
6 PM

Strength 20:00 [3]

Weight Session (Week 2 - Day # 2)

PU's (3X) 6,5,5 + Anti-Band Rotations (3 x 10/s)

Good session. My whole body felt shaky and my head hurt during this. A struggle and a bit of a shock today but it made me better.

Great long run. Body feels good. The pace was quick but didn't seem to be having trouble holding it. Hammy was just a little sore bit I can feel it getting stronger. The med ball felt really light today so I'll increase to at least the 4kg next time.
