This was good! I though I went out conservative but turns out our first circuit was much faster than the rest even though the effort increased drastically. Worked with Hailee and Kayla which was great because they would gap me on the recovery and I would do everything I could to get back with them on the uphills. I thought it would eventually lead to me not being able to catch them but I was successful with this technique until the end and it remained pretty even after 4 hills. Not sure what to think of my performance. I kinda feel like I should be better at this type of workout than I have been for the past few years but I've come to terms in that as long as I get to a Saturday Effort by the end then that's all that matters. I focused on staying relaxed today and found my breathing to be a lot more manageable and I never experienced that panic feeling of not being able to breath. Mentality was good today too :) Had fun!
