Walked down to the river and got stung by a bee!

Went back to the hangar after my nap to finish off. Slept really well this afternoon but as soon as I started this shakeout it still felt like a 300lb man was sitting on my shoulders. Very slow. Good engagement during the weights, just zonked after the running A's.

This was rough. I've never felt this kind of tired for a workout. I just felt so out of it as if it was the middle of the night. Really tough to get going and usually I feel better as the run progresses but today was just the opposite. Head was just pounding by the 2nd hard lap so I told myself to just keep running and don't start walking. Felt really weak. Strength wasn't much better for energy. Was going to go do weights right after but decided to go straight home to nap.

This was good. Wanted to do BF outside so went to the outdoor track only to find it closed. Thought about sneaking under the fence to use it but lots of people seemed to be out and about. I then thought I would head over to see if I could use St. Pat's new track. Got there and saw a few guys using the infield so I walked around the school yard trying to figure out how the heck to get in. It was completely fenced and locked down with cameras everywhere. They must have hopped the fence. Wasn't in my hopping atire so I decided to head back to the legion track to do BF through friendship gardens which went well. Weird walking around st.Pat's though. I hadn't been there in so long and it brought back so many highschool memories which I realized happened almost 10 years ago now :o

In a bit of a rough state going into this so it was good to get out and clear my head. I've been having a lot of trouble with sleep and transitioning back into nights this week. Just makes me feel a bit distant and segregated from the rest of the world also...it's tough :/ Gratton was beautiful tho.

Nice to get in the pool this week with some extra days off. Arms got pretty tired. Took it easy on the stiff afterwards since the body has been a bit fragile especially on the off days. Opted out of the speed stuff this week since the hammy is still coming back. Progressed on the strides. Crampy muscles.

Good workout:) Found it a different challenge from what we usually do. When all you wanted to do was back off...you had to increase the effort which is great practice for racing! Turned around after the 1st set to save Paige and reset a bit but we got back into er. Felt strong for the most part but more difficult to transition into the next gear as the workout progressed. Got lots out of today :)
