Road Relay race 22:48 [5] 3.36 mi (6:47 / mi)

N'ern RRs, Sport city Manchester, 4 x 5.4km. 6th overall (before Zanthe got us DQ'd somehow..!). 3rd leg, overtook one place to get us to 8th in 22:48.
First proper race back!! Was a really good day travelling on the train with Dad and enjoying the sun and atmosphere before the race :') Disappointed to be the slowest in the A team (about a minute behind Charlotte and Zanthe, and just under 30secs behind Imani) and Natalia but i can't control how other people run. It felt v hard, but considering i've not training in a group for 11mnths and not raced for 13 mnths i think i can be encouraged by this :-)

Up 2 gennels and along rd to farm, then thru all the gates, doing 4 x strides on top field, then back home.
I would usually run weds the week of a race (yes it's my first one back this weekend eeekkk - N'ern RRs :D ), but was travelling home from Menorca all day yesterday (so many delays!) so decided the do this v short thing today to get the legs ticking over !!

Steady Run 45:32 [2] 4.1 mi (11:06 / mi)

Done in Menorca ~ Arenal d'en Castell :-) (including the 208 steps up to the high road!) Was worried about halfway as i got stitch, but that soon went off and i was able to enjoy the stunning views across the coastline and sea :D
