Fartlek 30:02 [3] 4.19 mi (7:10 / mi)

7 min jog. 6 x 1min efforts, with 2min recov.s inbetween. 7 min jog.
Done out to dore along limb lane, turning round after halfway and coming back same way
Felt good - concentrated on doing bursts quickly (and recov.s slowly) as i wanna focus on building speed in training for the rest of summer to aid my 1500s

Track Race race 17:41 [5] 3.11 mi (5:41 / mi)

N'ern T&F champs, 5,000m. 7th in 17:41.43
400 in 82, 800 in 2:46, 3km in 10:24?, 4600 in 16:21
Despite being a good deal slower than two years ago (that's to be expected) i'm really pleased with my run today and had a great trip out to Sportscity again :) Was in a group with Hannah Brown and Ellen Downs for most of it, but managed to move away from them in the last lap or so, which i'm esp happy about given how far ahead of me they were at xc this year. The standard in the race was also really high - to have run my pb i would've only finished 5th! Really buoyed by today's run, inc'ing my last lap time and the fact that it was 22 degrees! :-)
