This definitely wasn't on a trail... 15 minutes of running around the school and stairs for soccer "practice" not great conditions on the field so went for a run before first games of the season tomorrow.

Compass bearings tonight - good training despite the very wet conditions, slippery on the downhills for sure! I was a little off tonight for some of the controls, missed #6 by being about 10 feet away from it and not looking up/around! And got off in that same area on the way to #4...noticed that in general I got pushed off my bearing going up hills, in the scramble up the hill on some parts tonight or by looking down while running I would crest it and keep on going without looking at my compass again - need to stop and do a quick check before heading off again!
