Orienteering 45:00 [1]

Warm up and about 40 mins of "orienteering" ... More map memory and trail running on the Churchill trails with letters at each checkpoint for a secret message. Craziest thing happened - Emma got asked to prom!! Fun practice :)

With Lucy through the Westdale trails - a little loop of the main trail went about halfway then back up the "hill", out to sassafras, off trail a bit and then to the pumpkin/ roller coaster trail to aviary hill and back home

Running hills 10:00 [4]

5 hard hill intervals with the aviary hill, base to guard rail and back down was about a minute each time then a 1 minute rest in between

Full body strength sworkit... Core exercises and some mountain climbers, lunges, wall sits, push-ups etc.

Schools race! I was running with my friend Diana and it was going really well, feeling good and flowing through the checkpoints until we got to number 10 heading to 11... I took a quick look at the woods and thought that it would be faster to just take the trail which it may have been except I missed the trail turn off and ended up going in on one of the mountain bike trails which once I knew we were off was impossible to relocate in so headed back and 4 mins or so later we hit the trail we meant to be on and it was all fine! A couple other slow downs were from the thorns in some sections but other than that I was happy with the run! Fun spring day capped with Westdale taking home the cup :)

I was feeling the sprints during this game... some good runs down the field and good game for Westdale with a 6-2 win over Sherwood, undefeated so far!

X-League #3 in Burlington - pretty good race tonight, felt strong for the first loop of greens and then #5 and 6. Had a bit of a hesitation going to #10 but looking up confirmed I was on the right track and just had to go a bit further...then the long leg for the dog bone was tough as I had a bit of a wipeout going over a log (banged my knee then face planted - 10/10 execution!) then tried to run right along the power line vegetation boundary before going back into the relatively clear forest. Then after going up a very muddy trail up the hill the rest was good with rough compass bearings working well to finish the dog-bone. Finished under the time limit which hasn't been the case for the past few races!

Soccer 40:00 [1]

3-0 win vs Watertown, lots of running and some resistance training with the gusty wind!! After a chill weekend I am almost fully recovered from my cold which is good! The next few weeks will be busy as my final exams start next Monday - but the end is in sight!

Yoga/Stretching 15:00 [1]

Lots of dynamics and some jogging to stay warm on the bench
