Super nice easy run with a friend down to Jericho beach and along the waterfront! It was another beauty night and I'm glad to have found a good 10k turn around point and will be able to get time to an hour or less I'm pretty sure! Felt good except for calfs were a bit tight on the long up hill...view of the mountains sure hasn't gotten old yet!
No gps for this unfortunately! Morning training session with Emma - intervals in pacific spirit. 2x3 mins, 2x1.5 mins, 2x1 mins, 2x30 seconds 90 seconds rest in between 3 mins and 60secs between the rest Felt good again! Focused on pumping arms and trying to get a good stride going.
So missed yesterday due to huge blisters on my heels from trying to break in boots... Got to meet up with Meghan and get some updates on the hammer though! Did a late night gym session at our small but convenient res gym... 20 mins on the rowing machine 15 mins of strength - core, lower legs with squats and lunges, and some arm press things... There's not a ton of equipment or any free weights which is ok because I still don't really know what I'm doing! 5 mins spin out on bike
