Ultimate 1:15:00 [1]

2 games and some training in today's rainy playoffs... unfortunately not the result we wanted but still a good season! The first team forfeited so we practiced and then we crushed it in the second game and as expected faced our rival Robanagan in the final. Lacking some defence and one of our good players due to injury we couldn't really compete... we made a strong push at the end and closed the gap but they still took the title! It was a really competitive and good game which was nice. We will look for a rematch next semester!

Note

Really fun evening exploring Grouse Mountain! There is so much snow up there so we hiked around, skated for 35 mins or so and ate some nachos. Very winter wonderland/christmas themed which was nice... but when we got off the gondola at the bottom it was raining, somehow not as nice!

My first WET in a while! 4 loops in the olympic village area, first 2 were easy and the last 2 more difficult. I used the first loop as a warm-up trying to get back into reading maps and I remembered how much more difficult night-o is with a headlamp! Made some adjustments.. a lot more map memory but it was pretty good! The last two loops had a lot more interesting features and my flow was a lot better than the first loops partly because all the loops were in more or less the same area so things became familiar.. still some good route choices though!
Also i forgot to start my watch for the second loop... so a bit of estimation again.

Beauty day here so had to take advantage of it with a long run along the beach to Jericho Sailing club and back...sorry Ontario people its still short weather here! Lots of dogs running around and some swimming in one section so always puts a smile on my face :) Felt pretty good lungs were a bit heavy after picking up the pace on the downhill and knees were a bit off when i ran in the sand for about 500m... running in the sand is not my forte! But other than that felt good.

Distance is off of Google maps cause didn't have enough battery left to run Gps so not sure how accurate...
