Orienteering 25:00 [2]

Not the best start to 2017 Orienteering... went out and did the WET from last night after class today, another clear day and was able to do the course in the light!
Things started off well except for a small bobble to #3 that i corrected, then I was coming out of control 5 and while going to turn on to the trail I completely wiped out on the ice... it was gravelly underneath and i ended up ripping my tights and getting a decent bruise and some scratches. Was a little rattled so walked the next two controls and then jogged the rest. It was getting dark and my leg was hurting so decided to skip the last 3 controls and jog it out on the non icy grass and back to the bus. Good to be back on a map though!

Running 45:00 [2]

Gorgeous night and my schedule allowed me to get out before it was dark so took advantage and went for a nice run along the beach! Was actually a bit faster on the way back despite the large hill cause i was in a race against the sun! Managed to get down to wreck beach and do a set of stairs to see the sunset... also saw 3 large bald eagles up close so that was cool!
