Pinckney chain of lakes. Needed to get some more paddling time in. Not really feeling it today though. Struggled through a lot of it. Shoulder a bit sore from yesterday's paddle.

Quick lap on the DTE Waterloo trail since we were in the area. Ran out of time to do anything more than one. I'm really starting to like this short but very fast single track. Heard they will have another section open by the end of fall.

Quick Kent Lake paddle. Haven't been able to get out on the water in several weeks. Accidentally paddled over an underwater log and broke my carbon weed deflector off. Ummmmm, darn it :(

We were able to dodge the afternoon down pours :) Windy on the way back.

First official CX practice at Hunt Park. OMG it was hot! It was about survival not speed tonight. Great to see many friends that we've made over the last couple of years. Worked on re-mounts a lot and got some great tips from a long time elite racer. Last 30 minutes of session was a practice race.

Dhu Varren to Olson Park for some single track on my cross bike, then over to Leslie Park to do hill intervals and dismount/mount practice. Dhu Varren hill eastbound all out. One of these days I really am going to throw up by the time I get to the stop sign.
