Was supposed to be a relaxing ride to shake out the legs from yesterday's hill training, and to stop by the local farm stand to pick up some veggies for a late dinner. Decided to to do a little single track to Bandemer, over the dam then back to Warren Rd to the farm stand. Not sure where we hit the nail (probable suspect), but started losing air rapidly on the paved path in the first part of Bandemer. Stopped to add sealant and pumped it back up. Took quite a bit longer today since the tire was about twice the width of yesterdays 35cc tire. Got the tire inflated "ok", but figured we best skip the farm stand and head home as the sun would be setting soon.
Interesting that we've gotten two flats in two consecutive days after going several years without even one (not including DK).............
NOTE: Decided to break down and order some CO2 cartridges with inflator this evening. Too difficult to get the bigger tire on the tandem inflated to where I wanted it to continue the ride beyond going straight home.
