Run/walk intervals. Bought the new Wahoo Tickr X HRM. It has some pretty cool features like memory (can sync later if you don't have your cell phone), 3D oscillation measurements (to help with running form), burn and burst zones, time, distance, cadence, speed. It is ANT+ and Bluetooth so will pair with most devices.

Zwift now has a "Run" feature, so will be trying that next since I already have a subscription. Will be interesting to do "virtual" running. It can't control my treadmill speed or incline since I have a "dumb" treadmill, but might offer a way to get through the awfulness of the treadmill training.

I think i'm going to really like the Kickr bike trainer. Using it with Zwift and I don't think I've ever sweat so much doing an indoor ride.

Strength (Snow Shoveling) 1:20:00 [3]

2 more inches of light puffy stuff (after yesterday's 4 inches). Brushed off both cars then shoveled instead of getting out the snow blower. Just got back in the door and settled in to do some "desk work" on my day off and Middy texts me as she's leaving for a closing to go back out and help our neighbor across the street (he's 94). One of the other neighbors usually gets over there with their small snow blower to do his driveway, but no one was stirring the past couple of days. Vern has probably gotten to 94 for the very fact that he's still so active. But....... there's no way I was going to let him shovel his whole driveway by himself. So I went back out to help him finish up.

Then..... went back out after the snow plow came through a couple hours later to clean up the "concrete snow" that gets left at the base of the driveway. Did Vern's too before he got a chance to get back outside.

Note

New Wahoo Kickr bike trainer for Christmas. Spent some considerable amount of time getting it set up and tweaked. Hoping it's as useful as they say it is and not a bunch of hype......
