Lots of falling over but great fun!! -17°C isn't even that cold anyway...................
XC skiing is pretty tough to get the hang of!!

Knee pain = 1. Damn. Full rest day tomorrow.

Can't work out if I'm really unfit or just really hungry...?
Maybe both.

Tried to chuck in some tempo efforts on the climbs but just ended up killing myself on the first one and crawling along on the rest of the run just to survive it.

Squad full pace training.
Mucked up #3 when I saw Harry and thought he had just left the control... He had actually left it a little while before so I missed badly by about a minute.
Also mucked up #9 pretty bad by hitting the crag too low and keeping on running around the lower crags thinking I was in the right place. Eventually went up the slope and found my control losing about 3.5 minutes.



Glad to see I was running reasonably fast though although my quads were buuurning!!

Two gym sessions today

One was cardio on the cross trainer/running machine (started on the running machine then died coughing the went again on 15% gradient and it was better)

Then went to gym #2 and did 20mins cardio then squatting 30kg (because I'm recovering from a knee injury I kept it low and chilled).
Did 5minute Thierry too and also deadlifted 100kg
