I did quite well considering some of my technical performances in the night recently.

Two main mistakes losing about 1:30 on #1 (quite a short leg but apparently the map was a bit weird and lots of people lost time to this control) and then a further 4:20 to #6. Annoying because #6 was across a low visibility marsh but I was on like until right at the end where I decided to swerve to the right.

Other than that I had no major mistakes other than maybe missing 30s here, 20s there a few times.

Wasn't pushing to hard, just flowing along and trying to be good technically and I was okay :) :)

Wrong RC to #3. (longer route though got good flow through #2)
Wrong RC to #6. (50/50 choice but had no flow. Had to stop and turn around)
DQ to #7 (we were told there was no artificial walls) :(
Wrong RC to #20. (to the left would have been quicker I think)

Got so confused at the last section (21,22,23) and I acidentally planned from 20-22!! oops. Then got confused, wandered around a bit and finally worked it out what I'd stupidly done. Roughly 1:30 lost.

Mass start training with Håkon and Karl.

At the start I was trying to take weird RC's to mix things up. They just ended up being slower and wouldn't be what I would normally have chosen in a race. (e.g. 4,5,9).

This put me off the pace a little bit so I pushed harder and started to catch again. Poor RC to #12 though I think that going to the left would have been better but I didn't see the artificial wall until it was to late.

Completely missed out #15 by accident oops.

Ran straight through the artificial wall on my route to #24 oops annoying I didn't see it.

M18E Norwegian spring 2014 sprint course.

I was okay.
Big mistake to #2 with my routechoice letting me lose about 10s.


I ran red. Meant to take green.

Potentially missed part of the fastest RC to #5.

MP to #6 but my map quality was so poor I didn't realise I couldn't go accross the olive green to attack the control. Would like to think that with a clearer map I wouldn't have done that.

Huge routechoice error to #8 where I planned to take the quicker option of the bottom bridge but somehow changed my mind once I'd left the control.... Annoying. (26s lost)


I chose the blue... Initially intended red.
