FRA British fell running relays - 2nd from the lads nice work!!

Set off in 3rd pretty nice work from the boys on nav! About 30secs down on Keswick in 2nd, and about 5mins on Dark Peak in 1st.

Started pretty decent pace not to bad but equally not gaining on Keswick - he started pulling away on the climb and I was absolutely struggling - 500 vertical metres later and the gap was maybe a minute - not looking good. Suddenly after some no path-rough-flat stuff followed by a sharp rough decent (200m down, 500m along) and I was back within 30s of him. Slowly reeled him in over the next km and a bit along the flat path then, at the last checkpoint and just before the final dirty decent the gap was 5s. Here we goooo - threw myself down it and instantly caught and made a gap, kept pushing hard and things were looking good.

Buzzing with the boys to get second place - such a fun event. Bring on the racing season!!
