Not the most ideal preparation for BUCS xc, managing to get ill and all that. Ah well, just gotta do what ever and know there are more races left in the season!

Started alright but still feeling a bit ill, coughing quite a bit, knew this wasn't gonna be my day. Enough with the excuses - started with Jack at a decent pace, he slowly but surely slipped away from me pulling away at a decent crack (and what a good run he had!!) leaving me to try not to crumble over the remaining 6/7 or so km. Held on alright till the last 3 or so km. Here Pablo and Symmonds came past me and pushed me out of the counters for the team prize. Quite a big blow mentally and the going got pretty tough but stuck in and made it around. 60th ain't all that bad likes, would be exciting to see what could happen fit :)

Think I need to lose some podge and hit some form. 3 weeks till nationals.
