Easy week ah felt like I may as well put an effort in. Getting bored!! Pushed pretty hard on all the hills but managed to miss all the strava segments haha. Damn. Reckon they woulda been pretty sweet too. Died hard towards the top of a few of them but good bants all around. If it wasn’t up a hill the pace was pretty slow.

With Dan, chilling until he realised he was pretty late and then the pace ramped up a wee bit. Nice.

Wet with Dan. Also bumped into Pete and James T doing laps, good chat. Couple of laps then around the crags. Nice.

Proper nice long one with the boysies x

Weather had been looking pretty grim all day but the solution we found was that it can't rain on you if you're in the clouds. Take that nature. Nice Pentlands - skyline route more or less from Flotterstone until Black Hill which we purposefully avoided opting for the much more fun route back alongside the reservoirs. Tasty.

Was entertaining to watch Harry smash the last couple of climbs only to take a long dark journey into the world of bonk on the road home ;)

Pretty naughty sprintervals with Harry.

1st loop was good, 2nd loop was horrendous, good technically but damn, Harry flew out the blocks like Usain Bolt. Bonked by the third control of the loop and very almost mentally dropped by the boy. Ironically (due to recent hill shape and form vs Barri) my saving grace was the gentle uphill around a corner after a 500m straight breathing outta my a...

Put the burners on once I sensed he was weak and tried to make it hurt. Managed to spot a decent enough route on the map change into a long leg bit which saved me time - perhaps not 100% the quickest but Harry lost far more time worrying about the 5m advantage he might gain. After that victory was mine, see ya later boyo x

Final interval was good, nice and short - kept it cool, calm and collected. Nice.

Running warm up/down 22:42 intensity: (14:46 @1) + (3:34 @2) + (4:22 @3) 4.79 km (4:45 / km) +25m 4:37 / km

Saw an couple of undercover policemen doing a drug dealer in the Morrison's carpark. Doesn't get much more exciting than that.

Need some more shoes - new Peg 34's really making my arch on my left foot hurt... same problem as the Vomero 13's - if anyone wants a fresh pair (or two) of size 10's dm me for deets xox

The 33's I'm currently using are 950km down. Making my knee hurt - get me to a shop!!
