SHI relay - an interesting one.
Running quite well (unfortunately not quite well enough to catch England though) focusing well on the technical side of things. One mistake where I hit a sand dune a little to far to the right, sorted it quickly though.

Came through spec about a minute down on Willy G and with Spongey but was starting to struggle physically. Semi spooned control #20 coming in from the beach a little too early and then proceeded to completely spoon #21. I'd been planning ahead and getting excited that we were close to the finish so the focus was lacking a bit i think - long story short - jumped a control in my head and blasted into the forest to the right thinking I'd crossed a fence and was now in the open area.... "where is the bloody forest on the map!!!" "ahh" "idiot idiot idiot!" blew a good two mins but thankfully no impact on the overall results.

Anyways - some positives in there - technically its looking good, physically not so good. Thats all part of the plan. I've had two and a bit weeks off so its allowed. Good physical shape is pending.

Really enjoyed running last leg, I've been wanting to experiment with relay racing other than on first leg - very fun.

SHI individual.

Pretty good run, was dealing well with the technical aspect. Couple of absolute mares route choice wise on control #7 and #16. Lost me a load of mins. No actual mistakes though so will take it. Bonked a bit around the last 15mins but managed to survive and blast around the last loop okay.

Seemed to run a much shorter distance than most - interesting.
