Good session, thought we went pretty hard on the first rep (we were meant to build through the session) but in reality it was the right intensity and we progressed well. was feeling pretty up for it and enjoying the sun.

Got to take my new XC spikes out for a spin, phwoah they're quick. Essentially track spikes... I will not be going near Livingston XC with them!

Poor brother dearest took a tumble on the last rep whilst it was hotting up to gift me the W. Will take.

Feeling fairly pumped atm with the high milage. The reason its high is because there aren't any races to be primed for so treating it as a bit of a base phase style month. Expected to feel tired as I've stepped up this block. Once my body is more adapted (next block) I'll be dealing with it better.

So as I was saying, felt pretty tired during the session but not all too bad once moving. Paces were okay but my garmin was being a bit dodgy again. Good grind and HR strap was saying the right things so will just enjoy it.
