Not the best race...some guy in my heat went out really hard, then slowed down right away and the pack bunched up. I tried to pass the pack on the outside and was stuck in the third lane the entire 1st lap...got tired on the second lap becasue i had to run on the outside...and i think that i took 5th or sixth in my heat...put my race on gmaps and it looks like i ran an extra 10 meters than what i was supposed to lol

Took it pretty easy with blake. My time was 19:50 i think, took 2nd in my age category but i could have beaten arron if i wanted to i think.

so jeff told me that we would be getting 3rd place next year at state in skiing i looked at the results from this year and this is what i came up with for Andover vs. Forest Lake at the state meet:

So as i projected we are winning...but it isn't time yet and it is really close. With training over the summer we should hold it i hope...just for grins and giggles this is what the rankings are going to be at the start of next ski season:

Ben told me that i am running the 4 x 800 on friday...first time ever that i have run the relay, i usally dont even run the 800 so that came as a suprise to me. I am hoping to get a 2:09, or just not lose a position in the race.

went on an easy run today...got ken pissed off and we kinda got bitched at when we got back...but he said that he would foget it. Found out that i am running the 4 x 800 at true team state and the open 800 at conference. I was excited to run but kinda sad that i had to be the one to kick jeff off...i think that andy shouldn't run the 4 x 800 and be more rested for his 3200 and let jeff run the 4 x 800, but i dont have a say in all of this. I think that depending on how jeff does tommorow and how i do on friday...we might get our positions switched, but i cant tell the future. I think that i want to go sub 2:08 by conference.

prepared to run good today, woke up and legs felt a little tired, but i am hoping that it is only from not having enough water and them not actually being tired. Hoping to run 2:10 in the 800...have a feeling that we are going to kick anoka's ass....again

*P.R. - ran a really fast first lap with adam and kyle...60 seconds i think...the second lap i started to tighten up and got about 70 seconds on the second lap. Took third overall and beat andy by 2 seconds i think...pretty sure that i will be racing on friday at state!!!!

a little mad because i got a side ache during my warm-up which means that i would get one during my race...which i did. I started to get the side ache at 300 meters, but it wasn't too bad and i could keep up with the lead pack... i think that letofsky was trying to keep the pace slow...My side ache really started to hurt on the 6th lap and my whole entire stomach felt as if it was going to explode. I was doing really good up until that lap, but after that i fell from the lead pack to second to last....i think that i got the pity clap at the end :( I was running a really good time before i got that side ache...but then after it was just horrible...i am really mad at my self....dont think that i will be running at either state, or conference, maybe sections because they take 4 runners and not three.

Anyways the team won and we made it to state next week...we showed anoka who's who of the whola who...lol

Felt soo fricken good today!!!! Warm-up, couldn't feel my calf at all, and the best thing is that i didnt even get a side stitch during the warm-up...which usally means that i will get one during the race. Went out behind some random kid and waited for sombody else faster to pass me so i could draft off them...the back stretch was windy...ne ways at the mile i was feeling fresh and awsome...split was 5:16...at lap five o'grady passed me liked i expected him too, he always starts out slow and works his way up, on the last turn on lap 7 i passed o'grady and started to pick it up...legs were still feeling awsome...with 300 to go i was getting a lead on o'grady and catching andy...i finished strong and got a time of 10:34, only 1 sec off my p.r.!!! think that i took 5th place. Blake made a last minute decision to run the 3200, he ran on no warm-up, 2 hotdogs and a bottle of gatorade rain and still got a time of 11:19...he was so happy after his race...so this race lifted me up and i now know that i can still run at a good pace for the rest of the season and dultuth on friday i shouldn't get killed...hoping for under 4:45 in 1600 (p.r. is 4:50)

Felt super good during my warm-up and on the cool down me and blake discussed the race...he was crazy for actually even trying to do that...but i give him props!!! We won the meet and got a huge cake that we are going to eat tommorow!!!!
