Running race (Tom Anderson 5 km) 20:00 [3] 5.0 km (4:00 / km)

Took it pretty easy with blake. My time was 19:50 i think, took 2nd in my age category but i could have beaten arron if i wanted to i think.

Note

so jeff told me that we would be getting 3rd place next year at state in skiing i looked at the results from this year and this is what i came up with for Andover vs. Forest Lake at the state meet:

Projected Places Next year
1. Joe Dubay - A - Grade 11
2. Jeremy Hecker - A - Grade 11
4. Ben Brodin - F - Grade 12
10. Ryan Wright - F - Grade 11
14. Travis Strike - F - Grade 12
21. Kevin Clark - A - Grade 12
30. Shawn Wright - F - Grade 12
32. Blake Gust - A - Grade 11

I put kevin 1 spot ahead of Eric Volk...who he should get further ahead of, and blake 1 spot ahead of gifford...who he can also beat...i dont know how skiing scores it but going from cc running scoring this is what the scores would be:

Andover - 56
Forest Lake - 58

So as i projected we are winning...but it isn't time yet and it is really close. With training over the summer we should hold it i hope...just for grins and giggles this is what the rankings are going to be at the start of next ski season:

1. Joe Dubay - Andover
2. Jeremy Hecker - Andover
3. Hans Nygren - Lakeville South
4. Ben Brodin - Forest Lake
5. Kasey Basco - Wayzata
6. Erik Fagerstrom - Eden Praire
7. Kirk Leach - Hopkins
8. Raleigh Goessling - Cloquet-Esko-Carlton
9. Andy Keller - Chaska
10. Ryan Wright - Forest Lake
11.Ryan Loomis - Mahtomedi
12. Gunnar Dancer - Hastings
13. Grant Cook - Duluth East
14. Travis Strike - Forest Lake
15. Anders Bowman - Wayzata
16. Tyler King - Lakeville North
17. Charlie Lapham - Robbinsdale Armstrong
18. Anders Lundberg - Mounds View
19. Gordon Vermeer - Minneapolis Southwest
20. Tom Deroma - Richfield

True Team State

Track Race race (4 x 800) 2:08 [3] 0.8 km (2:40 / km)
rhr:48 weight:67kg shoes: Spikes

Felt really really good. P.R. and the team made it on the honor roll!!! take that ben! team took 4th overall in state so that ain't too bad...and we were like 29 points behind 3rd place i thin and 2nd wasn't too far ahead.

Ben told me that i am running the 4 x 800 on friday...first time ever that i have run the relay, i usally dont even run the 800 so that came as a suprise to me. I am hoping to get a 2:09, or just not lose a position in the race.

Running 40:00 [3] 9.0 km (4:27 / km)
rhr:46 weight:68kg shoes: 2080 Gel Asics

went on an easy run today...got ken pissed off and we kinda got bitched at when we got back...but he said that he would foget it. Found out that i am running the 4 x 800 at true team state and the open 800 at conference. I was excited to run but kinda sad that i had to be the one to kick jeff off...i think that andy shouldn't run the 4 x 800 and be more rested for his 3200 and let jeff run the 4 x 800, but i dont have a say in all of this. I think that depending on how jeff does tommorow and how i do on friday...we might get our positions switched, but i cant tell the future. I think that i want to go sub 2:08 by conference.

Note

prepared to run good today, woke up and legs felt a little tired, but i am hoping that it is only from not having enough water and them not actually being tired. Hoping to run 2:10 in the 800...have a feeling that we are going to kick anoka's ass....again

Running warm up/down (with intervals) 30:00 [3] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)
rhr:48 weight:68kg shoes: 2080 Gel Asics

did 4 intervals after the 800...they were about 25-26 seconds long each.

Found a really good soccer ball on the warm-up at the tennis courts and kept it for myself...:)

Track Race race (800 Meter) 2:10 [3] 0.8 km (2:42 / km)
shoes: Green Machines

*P.R. - ran a really fast first lap with adam and kyle...60 seconds i think...the second lap i started to tighten up and got about 70 seconds on the second lap. Took third overall and beat andy by 2 seconds i think...pretty sure that i will be racing on friday at state!!!!

Running 15:00 [3] 2.5 km (6:00 / km)
rhr:48 weight:69kg shoes: 2080 Gel Asics

easy day before race...doing the 800...hoping for a 2:10...not sure if i can get lower. I got 2:12 last year after a 1600 so i dont know how i will do this year...but it would be nice.
