Went out to Homestead road to do some classic intervals on the big hill out there. DP was feeling a little bit sluggish today, but striding was great. Technique has improved quite a bit I think. 5 x 8 min @ ANT w/full rest. Went to Korkki after to see if Mark was home but nobody was there.

Night ride at Hartley with the new head light I bought a few weeks back. It was an awesome ride! Also rode down to canal afterwards to go jump in the lake with a few friends and got a ride back up the hill. Awesome night all together!

Normal morning stuff with Chad and Andre. I was able to pick up all of the drills pretty well except for the last one. Probably will have to work on that one a little bit more before its acceptable.

Bounding (MAX VO2) 1:30:00 intensity: (1:20:00 @1) + (10:00 @5) 9.0 km (10:00 / km)

Fricken tough workout. 3 x 3 min @ MAX VO2 15 on/15 off. 1st two intervals felt pretty good, last one was getting tough. Chad told me to go up for 4 min, I hit 3:30 and I almost collapsed at the start of the last 15 so I knew my workout was done and it did its job. Cool down we went to a small creek and got an ice bath :)

Community day today! We volunteered at the SHT by brining in some lumber for them to build a few new bridges out towards magney sniveley.

We went out to a new place to ski today. We went over to Lavaque road. The pavement was really good, but that was about it. A little bit too much traffic for my liking and flat, straight and boring. Otherwise it was pretty much an enjoyable ski. BE1 with Kasey for most of the time. We did a few no pole sessions and technique work with andre too.

Roller Skiing (ANT and RP Intervals) 1:30:00 intensity: (45:00 @1) + (30:00 @3) + (15:00 @4) 15.0 km (6:00 / km)

2, 3 x 3 min @ ANT W/1 min rest in between intervals and 5 min between sets. Also did a 3 x 3 @ RP W/1 min in between. We skied at the cemetery today. It was a little weird at first, but I got used to it. The trails are actually really nice for intervals. Lots of hills, no cars and great pavement!
