with Prong, Dave, Shep, Glenn, Ezy and Steve in Currambene State Forest. Around single trails at Cabbage Tree Rd and Coondoo Rd.
Sickness made me feel very lactic up every hill. Had a rest when we lost Steve for a while and nearly passed out. Lucky Shep had half a powerbar left (fortunately vanilla) and i came good on the way home. Then rode back to Crookhaven Heads with Shep
GPS track is here

Friday Nov 10

Note
(sick)
Trying to get better before the weekend

Thursday Nov 9

Note
(sick) (rest day)
Felt crap in the morning- a bit chesty. It got worse as the day went on, so stayed a work later and skipped training.
Schnizel and Chips at the Chelsea Bar for dinner. It's been a while and the price keeps going up, but it still tastes great!
Then saw Jackarse 2- very funny and more painful than ever. It will be hard to top.

Wednesday Nov 8

Orienteering race (SS- West Chatswood) 45:00 [5]7.86 km (5:44 / km) +418m 4:31 / km
ahr:177 max:204 shoes: old Asics 2100
First SS for the season. Quite a difficult course to plan. Erred on the cautious side and planned to skip a few controls. Lost time a few controls- as did Andy at the same ones. Pushed really hard at the end to finish bang on 45mins.
510pts- equal first with Andy
Run warm up/down (warm up and cool down) 1:10:00 [2]
shoes: old Asics 2100
Ran from Chatswood to start-20mins
25mins collecting controls
25mins back to Chatswood.
I was really tired after the race and collecting controls. Couldn't make it home- had to catch train home from Chatswood. Hamstrings have never been this tight.
Hockey race 40:00 [3]4 km (10:00 / km)
ahr:152 max:182 shoes: new Salomon
Had a coke and museli bar before leaving to go to hockey. Didn't have much energy of speed- but scored the first 3 goals of the game- killin' it!
Wore the GPS for the 2nd half- ran exactly 2km.
C • What position do you play? 4
